"Birch trees are so beautiful in every season. They have a lot of bling with that silvery bark and those shimmery leaves. They always looked like girl trees to me when I was growing up, there’s something so feminine about them." — Angela

Wool Rug Care
The most important maintenance of your angela adams rug involves frequent vacuuming and spot removal when necessary, as well as periodic cleaning by a professional. angela adams does not recommend any stain repellent treatments that contain silicone, because they tend to accelerate carpet soiling.
Vacuuming
Regular and thorough vacuuming with a good vacuum as often as needed is the best way to remove soil and dirt particles before they become imbedded in your rug.
Spot and Stain Removal
Immediate treatment of any spill is very important. Blot up liquids with a paper towel or color free absorbent cloth. Scoop up solids with the end of a knife or spoon. Apply an absorbent dry powder cleaner directly to the affected area. Let stand for 15 minutes, and vacuum well until all powder is gone. Repeat as necessary. Please note that the absorbent powder cleaners are intended for spot cleaning only. Be careful of overuse, which may cause build up.
Professional Cleaning
Depending on traffic and wear, you may want to have your rug professionally cleaned. Regular cleaning will enhance color and texture and extend the life of your rug. Find a reputable cleaner in your area that specializes in high quality wool rugs. We recommend steam cleaning or hot water extraction."
A Few Things You Should Know
angela adams uses only the highest quality industry standard dyes when dyeing our wool. These dyes have very good fastness properties, however you should give your rug normal protection from direct sunlight. Rotating your rug and furniture occasionally is recommended to equalize wear and sun effects.
New wool rugs shed loose wool fibers or "fluff." This shedding the normal result of fibers left in the rug during the tufting process. Regular vacuuming will remove these fibers over time, usually a few months to a year.
Occasionally, through normal wear a yarn tuft will work its way to the surface of the rug. Never pull these out, simply use scissors to snip the yarn even with the surface of the rug.
We recommend that you use a non-slip pad under the rug as an extra layer of protection and to keep the rug in place.
